Featured Dog: Darcy

Darcy began his show career with a bang, going Best of Winners at the Canadian National Specialty. He is a multiple BIS winner in Canada and finished his American championship by going BOW at the Pomeranian Club of Greater Des Moines specialty for a 5 pt major. He finished with multiple breed wins over specials and a group placement from the classes. He finished 2011 ranked #7 in Breed, was ranked in the top 20 in 2012 in limited showing, and holds the title of Silver Grand Champion, and has won numerous group placements and is a Group winner in the US and Canada breeder/owner/handled. He has consistently been recognized at specialties with 2 Best In Specialty wins and 3 Select Dogs at specialties, as well as an Award of Merit at the APC National in 2011. He retired from the ring after the APC National in 2013, at 4 yrs old after 3 years straight in the ring.

In Loving Memory
February 2nd, 2009 - February 2nd, 2018

Darcy passed CERF, OFA patellas 0/0, OFA cardiac normal

Darcy is very sound with an incredibly harsh textured, thick coat, beautiful head carriage and pretty face. He was also a natural show dog right from the start as a puppy. Darcy's first son to hit the ring finished with 3 majors, undefeated in the classes, and won an ALL BREED BEST IN SHOW before finishing his championship. His first daughter to finish also won 3 majors on the way to her title. We are excited to see what else is to come. Being the son of our foundation bitch, Darcy is too related to use on most of our bitches, but we hope to incorporate him after we do some outcrosses.

At 6 years old, Darcy still has an incredible, huge coat. We hope to have him out once in awhile in the veterans classes.
